If you want to compile the sources yourself you will need to download the Java Servlet Specification from http://java.sun.com/products/servlet/download.html (scroll down to "2.3 - Final Release" and click on the button beside "Download class files 2.3") and copy the zip file to the lib subdirectory of the SITE source distribution. If you also want to compile and run the included unit tests you'll have to get junit.jar from www.junit.org as well as the NetBeans JUnit extensions from ... er... here (temporary solution) and copy them to the lib subdirectory, too.
