Spark: A Flash to XML converter
Flash is getting increasingly popular with web
designers. Seeing that Flash allows much more
control over the layout than HTML, supports
elaborate animations and can be edited with
graphical tools to boot, this should not come as a
great surprise. Spark is aimed at
supporting dynamic Flash generation in a primarily
XML based server side environment by providing
- A parser to convert SWF (the binary
Flash format) to XML conforming to a specialized
DTD.
- A writer to convert XML conforming
to this DTD back into SWF.
